Enrofloksatsin 100 mg/ml

Description

Enromax 100 Oral is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic based on enrofloxacin. It inhibits DNA gyrase, producing bactericidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas. Rapidly absorbed in the GI tract; peak blood concentration reached in 0.5–1 h, therapeutic concentration maintained for 24 h. Excreted primarily unchanged in urine and bile.

Indications

Ruminants: enteritis, respiratory infections, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, clostridioisis, dysentery, leptospirosis. Rabbits: pasteurellosis, enterotoxicosis, enteritis, dysentery, respiratory infections, listeriosis, endometritis, rhinitis and others. Poultry: chronic respiratory disease, sepsis, fowl cholera and typhoid, salmonellosis, staphylococcosis, streptococcosis, mycoplasmosis, vibriosis, hepatitis and others.

Usage

Orally, diluted in water, once daily: • Ruminants and rabbits: 0.5–1 ml / 10 kg body weight (2.5–5 mg enrofloxacin/kg); for 3–5 days. • Poultry: 10 ml per 20 L drinking water, for 3 days (salmonellosis up to 5 days). Animals must drink only medicated water during treatment. Prepare fresh medicated water daily. For prophylaxis — half dose for 3–5 days.

Contraindications

Do not use in laying hens. Concurrent use restricted with chloramphenicol, macrolide antibiotics, tetracyclines and NSAIDs. Not recommended in cases of individual hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.
