Description
Yam Ointment is a highly effective veterinary fungicidal and bactericidal preparation for external use. It has acaricidal, antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Used for treating eczema, dermatitis, trichophytosis (ringworm) and mange in animals.

Indications
Eczema, dermatitis, trichophytosis (ringworm), mange. Effective against mange mites and fungal skin infections.
Usage
External: apply a thin layer to the affected skin area and 2–4 cm around it without removing crusts or clipping fur; lightly rub into the treated surface. Treat 1–2 times daily for 7–10 days depending on severity. Conduct microscopic scraping tests 10 days after the last application. If pathogen is found, repeat treatment. To prevent licking in small animals, use an Elizabethan collar or a bandage.

Contraindications
In cases of individual hypersensitivity to components or signs of skin irritation: discontinue treatment, remove ointment with a swab and rinse with water. No additional treatment required.
