Description
Uterozor is a non-hormonal preparation for stimulating parturition, prevention and treatment of gynaecological diseases, and improving animal fertility. It stimulates gentle, prolonged myometrial contractions for 6–8 hours. Acts on beta-adrenergic receptors without blocking the endocrine system, unlike hormonal therapy. Increases first-service conception rate by 20.4%. A single application reduces subinvolution of the uterus in cows approximately 2-fold compared to oxytocin.

Indications
Cattle: • Stimulation of parturition and prevention of postpartum complications • Placenta retention (postpartum) • Treatment of uterine subinvolution and postpartum endometritis • Before flushing embryos from donor cows • To improve fertilisation at artificial insemination or natural mating Sheep: • To improve fertilisation at artificial insemination or natural mating • Prevention of metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome
Usage
Intramuscularly or intravenously: Cattle: • Stimulation and prophylaxis: once on day of parturition — 10 ml • Placenta retention: 3 times at 12 h intervals — 10 ml • Subinvolution and endometritis: 3 times at 24 h intervals (combined with other treatments) — 10 ml • Before embryo flushing in donor cows (10–15 min before): 5 ml • 20–30 min before AI or mating: 5 ml Sheep: • 20–30 min before AI or mating: 5 ml • Metritis-mastitis-agalactia prophylaxis: once after parturition — 5 ml
