Composition
Tilozin tartrat 200 mg/ml
Description
Maxitil 200 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic based on tylosin (200 mg/ml). Active against most gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria: streptococci, leptospira, corynebacteria, clostridia, erysipelothrix, pasteurella, chlamydia, treponema, spirochaetes and mycoplasmas. After IM injection, peak concentration is reached within 1 h; therapeutic effect in tissues lasts at least 20 h. Eliminated primarily in urine; in lactating animals also in milk.

Indications
Respiratory, gastrointestinal and other bacterial infections caused by tylosin-susceptible organisms, including mycoplasmosis.
Usage
IM only, once daily for 5–7 consecutive days. Rotate injection sites. Do not inject more than 10 ml per site in cattle, 5 ml in sheep/goats. Do not mix with other drugs.
Dose (per 1 kg body weight):
• Cattle, calves: 0.025–0.05 ml
• Sheep, goats: 0.05–0.06 ml
• Dogs, cats: 0.025–0.05 ml

Withdrawal
Go'sht — 8 kun, sut — 4 kun
Contraindications
Do not use concomitantly with penicillin (especially ampicillin and oxacillin), cephalosporin and lincomycin. Not recommended for horses. Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to components.
